There is no enough evidence to show that bleaching your teeth during pregnancy can be harmful or safe to you and your baby. Frequent dental visits and appointments are still important during pregnancy.
Newer technologies offer laser for teeth whitening while some still stick to bleaching products that uses peroxide that cause oxidation which is harmful to your tissues and cells. To be on the safe side, it’s better to wait until you give birth or finish breastfeeding if youw ish to nurse your newborn to prevent any possible health problems. It’s better safe than sorry.
It is best to brush your teeth at least twice a day and have your frequent visit to your dentist.
