Batas, a miniature pinscher was our pet dog. He was very hyper and demanded too much attention from us. He even wanted to sleep beside us. It’s very funny because there are times that he will bark on Elijah and me when Lloyd is around, he’s jealous I guess. When we leave him inside the room, he will bark endlessly to catch our attention. When he is in the living room, he loves to play that will cause the kids to scream and shout. I can’t hold him because his coat is not that thick, I prefer chowchow with thick coats.

I guess a miniature pinscher pet is not suitable for a busy family with toddlers. They are really sweet but needs constant attention from the owner. Well, if you can handle the minpin’s active lifestyle then I guess it’s okay for you to have one. In our case, we cannot add a pet dog to our family that needs much attention. We all work online and the only break that we have is to do the household chores and play with the kids.

We sold Batas after a month if I remember it right. We missed him very much. The kids called him “baby brother dog”. He is our baby since he was only three months old when we bought him. I wonder when he is now. I hope his new owner is taking care of him like we do. His toys and other stuffs are still here.

The three kids may show similarities but they excel in different field. Svetlana can be a great painter or veterinarian someday for showing interest in a very young age. Hendrix can be a race car driver or judge, he recognizes all kinds of car from oldest to the newest in the market and he can defend himself when someone is trying to insult him. Elijah shows interest in different things so I can’t tell what he can be.

Some kids may not show interest in studying but let’s not pressure them. It takes time and a lot of patience. Our children need us more than anyone else. We, parents should understand and focus on their needs not on our own desire. Never compare them with other kids, every child is unique. They are special in their own ways. Let us not worry about the future, focus each day and make the most of it so there will be no regrets in the end.

I still have an outstanding balance in the university and have to clear it before I pass the letter for readmission and get myself ready for an interview. I was AWOL for 2 years and kinda doubtful if I can make it again inside the University of the Philippines – Baguio. Math make me turn back and forget about school but I can’t hide forever if it is a part of our daily lives.

My journey to school will begin this year and I think positively that in four years time, I will graduate no matter what happened.

Elijah didn’t appreciate 2010′s Noah’s Ark by SM Baguio since he is only 1 at that time. I can say that it’s much pretty than the White Christmas they have last month. Elijah kept on crying whenever we have to leave the place.

I just found out recently that I can watch local shows online. There are sites that offer live streaming of my favorite shows but the sad part is that the internet connection is getting slower so the show is always buffing. It’s not a good thing and waiting for the show to stop loading is a waste of time. I think I have to buy digital receiver so I can record the shows I missed or even pause when there is something to do.
