Potty Train

Elijah is still using diapers and it costs us a lot because he consumes 60 pieces a month. As I can see, he is not yet ready for potty so am I that is why giving him more months to use diaper makes it easy for the two of us.

Searching the internet about how it is done sounds impossible for me. Elijah is not your ordinary kid. He can be the sweetest and evil child at the same time. Potty training is not about forcing your child to sit in that potty and wait for him/her to finish. It’s not about getting mad when he/she accidentally poop or get wet at the bed. Potty training takes time, it is not about your child being ready but about you being ready with the consequences you may face when he/she is not wearing diaper anymore.

I won’t force Elijah to do things he doesn’t like especially if I am not yet ready. Never make an issue about your kid who doesn’t want to be potty trained at an early age.

  1. i began potty training my kids at age 1, i just let them sit in the potty trainer seat every morning, in the first month, they will just sit in it for a few minutes then stand up, i don’t force them to do their thing there, i just want them to be familiar with it, on the 2nd month, they already learn to poo in it 🙂
