How to tell if your child’s in pain?

How would you know if your child is in pain? Most especially if he is only an infant. How would you recognize it? Here are some cues if your child is in pain.

Sudden pain:
When he experiences sudden pain, he will usually take in an initial breath first before he released the sharp high pitched cry and if the pain continues, the cry will become low pitched. And you can distinguish that he is in pain because it is usually more forceful than general cries of hunger and loneliness.

Serious pain:
You will know that your child is in serious pain whenever your child is crying and is accompanied with fever, pale appearances and a rapid pulse.

When you cannot figure out why your child is crying and you cannot seem to pacify him, seek advice from his pediatrician as he may experiencing some sort of serious pain that only an expert can cure.
