She is my best friend, roommate and a confidante. It’s been two years and a half I guess since I talked to her personally. We never had that very long and personal conversation since she moved to University of the Philippines Diliman when we are second year college. Moving there means pursuing her dream.
I don’t know exactly where she is now. I don’t know how is she doing. No communication since she decided to go somewhere far, far from anything that will make her remember all the good times we had. She was there fighting for what she thinks is right, fighting for our country’s freedom.
She is there now, fighting for her own freedom, sleeping and sitting in a very small room with no one to talk to about how great the outside world is. We never realized that there are many of them who are willing to give their lives just to save us from anything that will harm us. Let us thank her and/or them for everything they did. Let us be reminded about their heroic acts.
If only I can bring back all the memories we shared, I will. If only I can be with her everyday, I will.
Please, if you do know how to contact Papa Jesus, tell him my best friend needs his guidance the most and my friends and I want to be with her just like the old times. I love her.
