Is it Safe to Use Aspirin During Pregnancy?

Even a single dose of Aspirin has a harmful effect to you and your baby. It is not advisable to take aspirin while being pregnant especially on the last trimester of pregnancy. Unless directed by your doctor, it’s best to avoid aspirin during pregnancy.

An increased risk in miscarriage is associated with taking aspirin during the time of conception and earl pregnancy. It will also cause complications during delivery and problems to the unborn child. Avoid taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs too.

If you are already using aspirin for some kind of medication, then ask your doctor how much dose can you take during pregnancy. Some physicians believe that low doses of aspirin can be safe.
