Stress Management

pinaymama · March 20, 2012 · Leave a Comment

I am a work-at-home mom. I have to look after my kid, cook food, do the household chores and earn for a living. Things can be pretty stressful at times but I manage it by following my favorite stress relievers.

I get the chance to play Facebook games like Tetris, Farmville, Cityville and Pet Society when my son Elijah is around. I may be playing those games for him but I’m enjoying it as well. I call it a break.  Since I do not pamper myself in a salon and spa, I play free gala bingo and other online games to relieve stress.

A very messy house, naughty kids, demanding boss, deadlines and annoying neighbors are only few of the stress producers that we are aware of. We can work this out by simply accepting the truth and being positive. Let’s accept the fact that we can’t have a very clean and shiny house 24/7  especially when we have toddlers around. Clean the house when everyone is asleep. Let the kids play around the house during the day, learn to let go and everything will go smoothly. If you can’t stand you boss, quit your job. There are thousands of online jobs that will pay you even more, just trust your yourself and skills. We can do nothing to our annoying neighbors, better to stay inside the house as much as possible if you don’t want to socialize with them.

Stress is something that we have to live with and controlling it is a matter of reacting properly to the stressor. We can fight stress with positive and healthy responses. Simply figure out what stress method for relieving stress works best for you and do it every time you are stressed.
