As stated in previous posts, we went to a beach that didn’t require us to pay for the entrance or hotel rooms. It’s a private property that has beach front cottages. We just pay for the cottages rent for only P200 and shower room P10 per head.
The shower tube was not properly installed so we rinsed outside the shower room. It’s not that embarrassing taking a bath outside even if the locals are just out there. It’s cool since I was like taking a bath in our own backyard. There’s a deep well in front of us in which we used to rinse. There’s a man who offered to get water from the deep well, I guess he is the in charge for it.
The beach property was big. There are three four family inside the compound. They shared everything. The cottages owner are the three family. The man who is the deep well earns a living from those who uses the deep well water.
Since it’s not peak season, they offered us P200 for the beach front cottages which really costs P500. Cottages that are far from the beach costs P200-300. A family with 9 person can share a single cottage. They also offer electricity use and karaoke for added fun. You can also buy fresh fishes from them. We just bought a very large fish. Half of my body I guess is it’s length.
The water is color blue and green, locals from La Union Philippines are always cleaning their surroundings to preserve mother nature. We saved money for this vacation with a HARP home refinance.
