Where to EAT in Bulacan: Mighty King Chinese Restaurant

Recently, Mighty King Chinese Restaurant has opened in Guiguinto, Bulacan, and it is an exciting addition to the local food scene. Chinese restaurants are often known for their large menus, featuring a variety of dishes including noodles, rice, dumplings, and stir-fries. These dishes are often characterized by their bold flavors and use of aromatic spices and sauces.

Mighty King Chinese is the latest restaurant by Transcendental Relection Restaurant Group, Inc (TRRG). It is located at Acrocity, T12 Industrial Estates, Guiguinto, Bulacan. They offer authentic Chinese dishes that are carefully crafted with high-quality ingredients and traditional cooking methods.

We were very lucky to be invited to their Bloggers Night event last April 21 and have a taste of some of their menu.

Assorted cold cuts are a popular Chinese appetizer and include century egg, asado, jellyfish, and lechon macau. The cold cuts are served with ginger sauce, making them a tasty and satisfying appetizer.

Wintermelon seafood soup is a classic Chinese comfort soup that is typically made with wintermelon, seafood such as shrimp, crab meat or scallops, and sometimes pork. The soup has a delicate and savory taste that is both refreshing and comforting. Perfect for rainy days!

Hot prawn chicken salad is a flavorful dish that is made with marinated prawns, sliced chicken, mangoes, and a variety of vegetables. The dish is usually served cold and is often dressed with a tangy sauce made. The combination of tender prawns, succulent chicken, and crisp vegetables make this dish a perfect appetizer or main course. This is a crowd favorite!

Diced beef with mushroom taro sauce is a classic Chinese dish that is made with diced beef, mushrooms, and taro. The dish has a rich and savory flavor that is enhanced by the sweetness of the taro.

Sweet and sour pork is a classic Chinese dish that is made with chunks of pork that are coated in a sweet and tangy sauce. Masachi is a dessert that is made with glutinous rice flour. The mixture is then shaped into small balls and boiled in water until they float to the surface. The balls are then coated in a mixture of crushed peanuts and sugar, giving them a sweet and nutty flavor. This is similar to our Filipino palitaw with chocolate filling.

We were also served with crystal hakaw, shrimp and pork siomai, shrimp with kuchai dumplings, and steamed chicken feet in garlic sweet and spicy sauce.
