Opening an Online Store via Facebook

pinaymama · February 1, 2011 · 3 Comments

My eldest sister and I will soon open an online store in Facebook. We planned about this last year, already organized the Facebook page but was not able to upload the pictures of the items to be sold because we are still looking for a mannequin so that the dresses will look presentable. We will also sell pre-loved dresses of our kids and my dad’s work of art. He is making paper bags, wallets and hats. We ordered leg warmers from my aunt in London but it’s too expensive and I don’t think people will buy it so our second option is to look for people who know how to knit so that we will just give them the patterns and knit the leg warmers for us.

Organizing an online store is difficult especially when you are doing it for the first time. Good thing there are social networking sites like Facebook that offers free services for those who want to open a store online. Gaining popularity is a must since there are many online sellers nowadays. You have to look for unique items to sell or be the first one to know the latest trend.

Watch out for our online shop. We’ll let you know once it’s done!
