Learning While Saving

I gave birth to my son when I was in college so have to stop studying to take care of him. Know that he is almost three years old, I am planning to go back schooling but kinda hesitant since the tuition fee is very expensive. I was in a dormitory during my first year in college. My eldest sister helped my mom to shoulder the dormitory rent, my monthly food allowance and school needs, in return, I have to avail all the scholarship that I can get to help them and give them good grades. It was pretty hard for me since I was 9 hours away from them. I only have the chance to see them during semestral breaks.

Since it was a public school, we are not required to buy our own books and have each book chapter photo copied instead every class meeting. For students who are required to have their own books, to rent textbooks is much cheaper. Campus Book Rentals offers up to 90% discount in all textbooks that they have. and worry no more in the shipping fee because it’s free in both ways. If I opt to stay in B.S Biology during my first semester in college, I will probably rent the 4th edition of Campbell Essential Biology from time to time since it has flexible renting period. I also learned that CBR also donates to Operation Smile with every textbook rented. Renting here I guess is a good choice since you don’t only get a discounted book price but also you get the chance to help other people.

I am thinking of taking up a 2 month class of commercial cooking and baking after a month since I have to save for my own tuition fee and other things. As much as possible, I want to sustain my education needs.
