Keeping Your Family Healthy

pinaymama · December 5, 2013 · 1 Comment

2013 has been a very challenging year for all of us. Although there are three weeks before we say hello to 2014, I would like to  call it even. I hope that having chicken pox will be the last challenge we are going to face for this year.

On July 2013, my mom was admitted to the hospital because of  ischemic stroke. On August, my second father was admitted to the hospital due to possible cardiac arrest if not treated immediately. On September, my grandmother died because of heart attack, well she died due to heart attack but the main reason for her hospitalization is she can hardly breathe because of Emphysema. On October, my son’s platelet went down to 132 and has a stage 1 Dengue. And just this month, I have a chicken pox. Aren’t we so lucky to have all these in a span of 6 months?

Keeping your family healthy will not only keep you away from any danger but also will make your life longer and happier. I amvery happy now that Elijah is taking vitamins willingly unlike before that he won’t breathe for too long when we were giving him vitamins in syrup or chewable tablet form. At present,he is taking Ceelin Plus, a combination of Vitamin C and Zinc to boost his immune system and Tiki-Tiki Star as a food supplement. The result is very overwhelming because he eats a lot and sleeps every afternoon, he is now eating vegetables ( we are giving him little by little until he learns to appreciate vegetables). From 15 kilos, he is now 16.4 kilos. Not bad eh?

Lloyd is taking Enervon multivitamins to keep him going. Now that I am unable to do any household chores nor take care of Elijah, he needs this multivitamins the most. See that 7+1 saver’s pack? Now that’s what you called thrifty finds. Yay!

Myra E 400 IU is what I am taking to keep my skin healthy. Lloyd and I are both using Enervon and Myra E but of course when we are taking Enervon, we do not take Myra E anymore to avoid Vitamin E excessive intake.

It is best to invest on your family’s safety and health as early as possible.
